WCR Video"We are a network of successful REALTORS® empowering women to exercise their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders."

joann_pictureThe year 2010 holds many exciting meeting and events for the Memphis Chapter of Women's Council of Realtors.  We are instituting a Memeber of the Month this year.  We will recognize members who make a difference in our chapter and their communities.

Join us on the second Thursday of each month for our Business Resource Meetings.  We meet at the Hilton Memphis on Ridge Lake Blvd. from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.  Regina Hubbard, 2010 President-Elect, and her committee have been hard at work interviewing prospective speakers.  This month our guest speaker is Lisa Moore.  Lisa is the developer and facilitator for Leadership Memphis Grassroots Leadership Program and her topic is "You make a Difference."  Lisa is a very energetic, motivational speaker, and I'm sure you will not want to miss hearing from her.  I am extremely happy to announce that our National Women's Council of Realtors'  President, Deborah Tatum Gilmore, will be our guest speaker in July. Mark your calendars and plan on attending each of our meetings this year.

Carmen Prince, VP of Membership, is making plans for our Membership Drive Kick-off Party.  Claire Owen, Fundraising Chair, is gearing up for another fun-filled "Night at the Races" this year.  The Tennessee Association of Realtors' convention in September will be held here in Memphis and the National Association of Realtors' Convention will be in New Orleans in November.  These are excellent opportunities for us to attend experience Womens Council both on a state and national level at a minimal cost.  Want to plan a train trip to New Orleans in November?  We will be awarding a few scholarships to cover the cost of registration for these two exciting events.  More information to follow.

I am honored to represent the Memphis Chapter on a local, state, and national level this year.  We have a great organization.  If I can be of service to you or if you have questions about Womens' Council of Realtors, please don't hesitate to contact me.
